Buffalo shooter pleads not guilty on hate charges.

A man was collared by the Law recently for shooting buffalo’s illegally and the man was shocked, dismayed and aggressive about getting the handcuffs placed on his wrists.

When asked by the judge at the man’s arraignment, “Why did you shoot all those buffaloes illegally?”

The judge then explained to the man. “You have been charged with a hate crime against buffaloes, how do you plead?”

The man explained to the judge that he had no hatred of buffaloes in general. The man claimed he shot the buffaloes because he must have lost consciousness of what he was doing at the time.

The man went on to produce a pocket full of buffalo nickles, remarking to the judge, “Here is proof that I do not hate buffaloes. I have a whole pocket filled with them. I have been collecting them since I was a child.”

The judge released the man on his own recognizance and recommended him for a position as an aide to a Texas congress person who shall remain unnamed because of privately suspected literary difficulties.

The man took the job and is currently working with his congress person on a bill that would designate the American buffalo as the new symbol of American Independence replacing the bald eagle.

    • I am so pleased that the sarcasm is palatable enough to be detected. It was intentional. Thank you for noticing.
