Burt Bacharach: 1928 – 2023
Who was Burt Bacaharach and why was he so important to the Music World, America, and the entire World in general?
Burt Bacharach was a prolific American composer, songwriter, record producer, pianist, and singer who became one of the most successful and respected figures in popular music.
Along with his longtime collaborator Hal David, Bacharach wrote some of the most famous and iconic pop songs of the 1950s and 1960s, including “The Look of Love,” “Walk On By,” “What the World Needs Now Is Love,” and “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head.”
His work has been covered by numerous artists, from Dionne Warwick and Dusty Springfield to Elvis Costello and the Carpenters. Bacharach’s influence on modern music is significant, and he is widely considered one of the most important figures in popular music of the 20th century.
Mr. Bacarach was 94-years-old when he passed away just recently.
The world will never be the same.
Such a huge legacy left behind. He will live forever in his music.

wow, this is kind of spooky because I’m listening to “Rediscover Burt Bacharach” right now. For no particular reason I just had the Amazon Echo thingie play it on the spur of the moment.. Didn’t know he’d passed away until just now.
