OPINION
I have come to believe that Yes, there is such a thing as a deep state in the United States.
The term “deep state” is used to refer to a hidden network of powerful individuals and organizations that exist within the government and corporate structures of the United States, and which work to advance their own interests and agendas, often at the expense of the public and the legitimate government.
You know, like “Money Talks, and Bullshit Walks.”
These networks are believed to have a significant influence over many aspects of American life, including policy decisions, legislation, and economic conditions.
Many people believe in the existence of a deep state because of what they see as evidence of its activities, such as the leaked emails and documents from WikiLeaks, the 2016 U.S. presidential election interference, and reports of corruption and unethical behavior by members of the government and corporate sector.
Additionally, the deep state’s activities are often seen by many as a way of circumventing the will of the people, as it works in secret and without the consent of the public.
I believe that some of the wilder factions within the American Conservative realm are probably linked, somehow to the deep state because I believe that the aims and ambitions of a deep state are more in line with contemporary right-wing agendas than anything else.
So yes, if the deep state does exist, then I feel like it would be more of a right-wing construct and would, eventually, erupt from time to time in such events as the July 6th insurrection at the United States Capitol.
I’m sure there is, and in every other Western country too. They pull the strings of the politicians who simply front for them.
Best wishes, Pete.
