In an article above this one that you are looking at now, I posted a meme questioning why Republicans always seem to take credit for all the good work that somebody else has done. I got a little bit obsessed about the question because I have seen the truth of it play out almost a Hundred percent of the time … and this is what I came up with:
I believe they always take the credit because sneaking, crafty-assed Republicans are always there to take it, and taking credit for the good work done by others must be a cover for their total incompetence and possibly incontinence as well when it comes to governing well —- like Germany’s propaganda Minister,l Goebbels, they love to repeat lies until they wear people down and people who hear their lies often enough start to believe them.
I believe they’re like a bunch of vultures, waiting to swoop in and take credit for the carcass of any good news story And when they have problems doing that, they make shit up — It is called “Alternative Facts” as I recall.. It’s time to fight back and set the record straight. Here are some of the good things that Democrats have done for the country that Republicans always try to take credit for:
The Affordable Care Act: This landmark legislation, which was passed by a Democratic-controlled Congress and signed into law by President Obama, has helped millions of Americans get access to quality, affordable health care. It’s one of the most significant pieces of legislation in recent history, and yet Republicans have done everything they can to undermine it and take credit for its success.
I have always wondered why the Republicans want to undermine Obamacare so much when it would ruin a lot of their own constituents and I also wonder, “If the Republicans hate Obamacare so damned much, why are they always taking credit for it?”
The stimulus: During the Great Recession, President Obama and the Democratic-controlled Congress passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, commonly known as the stimulus. This $800 billion package of tax cuts and government spending helped jumpstart the economy and avoid an even deeper recession. But you would never know it if you listened to Republicans, who constantly criticize the stimulus and claim it didn’t work.
The auto bailout: In the midst of the Great Recession, President Obama and the Democrats in Congress bailed out the auto industry, which was on the brink of collapse. This was a risky move, but it saved millions of jobs and helped keep the economy from spiraling even further downward.
Once again, Republicans have been trying to take credit for the success of the auto industry, even though they opposed the bailout at the time.
These are just a few examples of the many good things that Democrats have done for the country, but Republicans always try to take credit for them. It’s time to fight back and set the record straight.
Yes, it is time to fight back but as to setting the record straight … well I don’t believe we will ever be able to set the record straight because the Republicans have a constantly running propaganda campaign going on and there is almost a third of the American Population who believe their bullshit as if it were gospel itself.
How about doing your friends a favor and telling them about this blog …. a blog that never tries to sugarcoat shit … but that always tries to tell it like it is!
